About Your Guide Kate Murphy

From a young age, I felt a deep connection to the great mysteries of nature— both earthly and celestial. My path began with a spark of entrepreneurial spirit when, at just 12 years old, I launched my first business selling candles. That early venture lit a fire for sovereignty and self-creation that has guided me ever since.

Called by the wisdom of my Celtic priestess lineage, I explored a wide range of healing modalities, eventually studying and teaching yoga. Over time, I immersed myself in the sacred traditions of my ancestry, undergoing initiations as both Priestess and High Priestess in several lineages.

For well over a decade, I’ve held space for thousands of women through ceremonies, rites, blessings, and rituals. As an Initiated and Ordained High Priestess, I am devoted to guiding women in creating lives that reflect their highest expression — lives that are fully embodied, rooted in the sacred, and welcoming of the whole self.

  • WHAT LINEAGE IS THE FEMININE CODE PRIESTESS SCHOOL FROM?

    The Feminine Code’s priestess path is non-dogmatic, in the sense that you are working with the alchemy of the Sacred Feminine and its wisdom. Today, no lineage has survived intact, as so much of the divine feminine wisdom was desecrated and destroyed. For this reason, The Sacred Spiral aims to weave together the pieces that have been found and remembered.  All women are welcome here - all beliefs, from all backgrounds, from all places. The Feminine Code Priestess School combines teachings from several different lineages that Kate has studied and initiated into, including that of her Celtic ancestral heritage. Kate’s initiations include Mary Magdalene’s Priestess lineage, and is an initiated High Priestess of the Lineage of the Rose, a Priestess of Avalon, and a Priestess of the Golden Age (Egyptian origins). Weaving together the earthly paths with the celestial, you will embark on a journey with Great Nature in what is referred to as The Feminine Code.

  • WILL I INITIATE AS A PRIESTESS IN THE SACRED SPIRAL TRAINING?

    You will be walking the path of the Priestess and guided in many ancient practices, but The Sacred Spiral is only the first year of a several-year initiatory path offered by The Feminine Code Priestess School. The Sacred Spiral serves as a foundational training before embarking on a deeper journey within. This work is essential for anyone wishing to walk this path devotionally and those intending to initiate into the priestess path. This program is also wonderful for those who are curious about the Priestess path, but do not necessarily wish to initiate. The container holds wisdom teachings and learnings that you can incorporate into your own life to begin or deepen your spiritual journey. Initiation is a process that requires years of deep commitment. Kate believes it would not be in integrity to initiate someone within the single-year training of The Sacred Spiral alone.

  • Can I still participate in the course if I don’t have any prior knowledge or training about the Divine Feminine?

    The doors to The Feminine Code Priestess School are wide open to all those who are feeling a call to delve into the timeless wisdom of the Sacred Feminine and Masculine in balance, Mother Nature, and the cycles of the natural world. All cultural or religious backgrounds are welcome here and do not compete. Think of Priestess School as a place where you can gain a wider breadth of how you experience spirituality. If you're new to this space, be assured that this journey will usher in a completely transformed connection with the sacred, the feminine, and, above all, with your own authentic self. No prior training is required.

  • I AM GOING THROUGH A LOT and not sure I have the space for something like this right now - is this program suitable for me?

    Absolutely. This program is created in a way that you can ebb and flow with the material. There is no rush, limited homework and it is totally at your own pace. In fact, it might take you several years to truly "complete" the training, but completion is not the point. It is the journey. Practically speaking, everything is recorded if you can’t make it live, so you can also dive into all the content at the same time. Especially if you’re going through some big transition, this work will help to hold you through it and bring the sacred understanding into your stage in life. You are supported and welcomed here.

  • With numerous spiritual programs available, what sets this one apart and makes it the right choice?

    First and foremost, it's essential to acknowledge that there's no definitive "right choice" in this journey. Every experience, be it through a program, coach, mentor, or spiritual teacher, offers valuable lessons. What truly matters is the resonance of energy and trust that you feel with your chosen guide for this particular point on your path.  This decision is deeply intuitive and can only be made by you. If you sense that inner calling, then trust that.

    ‍    That being said, The Feminine Code Priestess School brings forward a very grounded approach to an area that can sometimes feel less tangible to grasp. Kate is deeply devoted to this path and practices what she preaches - you will feel that expressed in everything you receive in this offering.

  • WHAT IS A PRIESTESS?

  • Can you really learn Priestessing online?

    While there are aspects of walking the priestess path that are important to be in the physical plane together, much of the work and teachings happen on an energetic level. As a result, the online space can be a wonderful way to dive into these teachings with less distraction and in the privacy of your own home. While there will be in-person opportunities to work together throughout the year, you can glean so much depth from the online Sacred Spiral Training and Feminine Code Priestess School. The energy within these digital containers transcends the constraints of time and space. Even though the setting is virtual, it remains profoundly sacred and potent.

  • How can one balance the demands of a busy life with the sacred path of the Priestess?

Listen to the stories the wind tells. Each Spiral as we move through the element of Air, you will dive into the mental plane through reading, writing and communicating with the sacred. The Sacred Spiral Air teachings offer a blend of her-story, cultural exploration, theology, and the uncovering the priestess arts. You will learn about archetypes, deities, origins, and ancient beliefs and wisdom teachings. There is profound knowledge to dive into and sacred teachings that was revered by the ancients. While many traditions and practices of ancient civilizations were purposefully lost or kept hidden, the truth always finds its way to light. Fire is the element of creation. As we journey through the Spiral, you will receive guided instructions on creation and crafting mystical objects that will support your Priestess path. You will learn to create meaningful tools that enhance your sacred practice within the Spiral and beyond. No advanced skills are required; these lessons are designed as creative sessions where you will experience what it is to bring magick to life in your everyday. Fire is also about  transforming and renewing. It burns away the old to make way for the new. Water

Water holds the healing balm - it is for blessing, cleansing and purifying. In the Sacred Spiral, we will commune with the element of water as we dive into our healing journeys. As priestess, we are highly intuitive beings, receptive and sensitive to our surroundings. Water helps us connect more deeply to that part of us that knows. Aligned with the energies of each season, you will embark on a guided journey, spiraling within and connecting with parts of your essence that are ready to come to your attention. Feeling the priestess path within you is done when we commune with the element of earth. The element of earth teaches us to embody the innate wisdom passed down through the generations. Unlike the knowledge presented in the Air booklets, this wisdom transcends the mind and resides deep within our bodies, bones, blood, and energetic womb space. It is a wisdom we can only remember, seeking to bring it to the forefront through some of the most potent spiritual practices: embodiment and ritual. With each spiral, you will receive powerful rituals to do connected to the seasons, supporting your journey to becoming in union with your authentic self and the divine.

Spirit

One of the most potent forms of energetic medicine remains gathering in Ceremony. When we commune with the element of Ether, or Spirit, we will transcend the experience of the mind and move into a fully embodied healing resonance that opens the opportunity to change, well, your life. Every six weeks, we will meet in a live ceremony (which is also recorded) to celebrate, to heal, to learn, and to go more deeply into the wisdom of each season by delving deeper into the teachings of this devotional path of love, the way of the Priestess.
