How to become an Initiated Priestess

Some women are called to the Priestess Path to deepen in their wisdom to the Sacred Feminine, learn about what has been lost and reclaim it in her own way. Others enter into the Temple with a clear knowing that their Priestess Path asks for their life to be in devotion and wish to step into Priestess not only as a woven archetype but also as one’s service in the world.

Today, becoming a Priestess isn't about receiving a title or meeting a checklist of qualifications, but rather about walking an initiatory path that transforms how you live, lead, and relate to the sacred. A true training is about embodying ancient wisdom through practice, ritual, devotion, and lived experience through your own unique lens, callings, passions, and all that makes you, you.

To be clear, to walk the Priestess path, you need no school, no system, no hierarchy to bestow that title upon you, for the Priestess path is sovereign. Many women have been initiated onto the path through their own life’s experiences and have felt the direct connection with the Divine, reclaimed her role as Priestess, and have devoted themselves to walking a path of love. This is powerful.

The 4 Spirals of The Feminine Code Initiatory Path

The Feminine Code Priestess School honors another layer of the walk, one that includes training and the building of skills to support women who wish to train within the Priestess Arts and feel called to offer Ceremonies, Rites and Rituals, or to simply understand the sacred technologies so they may be woven into their own lives.

The Feminine Code Initiatory path includes three spirals inwards and culminates in one final spiral outwards, into your sovereign initiation. That is, you are initiated through and by your relationship to the Divine upon completion of your training. No one can do this for you. The school holds you as you move through the temple teachings and your reclamation is witnessed in sisterhood when you receive the Initiatory Rites. Holding the skills of a practicing Priestess you will be supported in holding Ceremony & Rites as well as weaving the Priestess Arts into your everyday life.

Spiral 1: Foundational Studies

The Sacred Spiral Priestess Training is the first gateway on the initiatory path within The Feminine Code Priestess School, our year-and-a-day immersion into the living mysteries of the sacred feminine and the great cycles of Nature.

This is the Spiral of the Womb, where you are guided to remember what it means to live, move, and create in rhythm with the Earth’s turning, to return to the pulse of the sacred that lives within and all around you. Through ceremony, sisterhood, and the priestess arts, you will rekindle your relationship with the living world and embody your truth as a woman devoted to the feminine way.

The Sacred Spiral is both a remembering and a reawakening.

Spiral 2: Temple Studies

The Sovereign Spiral Priestess Training marks the second gateway on the initiatory path within The Feminine Code Priestess School~the spiral of the Heart.

Here, you cross the threshold from remembrance into embodiment, where the Priestess within you rises in devotion to her sacred service.  We journey together through teaching temples, ritual, ceremony, and advanced one-on-one mentorship. Within this expanded field, you will deepen your mastery of the priestess arts, receive and learn to offer sacred rites and rituals, and refine the living expression of your soul’s work.

Spiral 3: Initiatory Studies

The Sophic Spiral marks the third container on the initiatory path. This is the spiral of the sight and an advanced vocational apprenticeship. It is here you learn to navigate the unseen realms with greater skill. Spiral 4: Residency

The Rites of the Priestess Initiatory Residency is a several day in-person immersion to receive the Initiatory Rites of the Priestess and serve in the role of the Apprentice. This follows one’s journey through The Sophic Spiral and takes place every other year. Here you will have the opportunity to both receive and step into the role of Priestess, sharing your unique gifts with a brilliant constellation of women. Here is where you claim the place of the initiated ~ witnessed in your sovereignty.

How Long Does It Take to Initiate as a Priestess?

At The Feminine Code Priestess School, the path to initiate as a Priestess is not a set number of years, but rather, a journey of devotion. Every woman's journey unfolds in its own time and her initiation is sovereign, that is, you are initiated through and by your relationship to the Divine upon completion of your training. No one can do this for you but the School holds and guides you through your own initiatory path. The priestess path is a non-linear endeavour and every woman's journey unfolds in its own time. There is no rush. In fact, it might take you several years to truly "complete" the journey, but completion is not the point. It is the journey.

What Is an Ordained Priestess? (Legal Ministry & Service)

If your desire is to serve as a Priestess as your vocation and service in the world, you may also choose to walk the path of Ordination. A legal Ordination grants you the standing to hold legally recognized Rites, including marriage ceremonies, and recognizes you to walk as a Reverend and Ordained Priestess, with the authority to serve, hold sacred Rites, and lead your own Ministry.

You do not, however, need to aspire to initiation or ordination to benefit from this work. The Feminine Code Priestess School is equally meaningful for women who feel drawn to explore the Priestess path, reconnect with the Sacred Feminine, and bring these teachings into their everyday lives, spiritual practices, and relationship with the natural world. What unites the path is devotion, the personal work that roots deeply within you so that it may eventually be brought forward through your own expression of priestessing.
